Breathe In

Breathe In (formerly called Coffee Break) is a ministry for women, providing a space, time and community for women to find spiritual refreshment.

Our vision is: “Women walking together; Nourishing souls; Living life fully”.

At Breathe In you can expect to be warmly welcomed into a comfortable environment, where you can know and be known. Breathe In provides a great environment for women to meet other women in the community and church, and grow in their relationship to God through the study and practice of Christian spiritual practices.

We provide responsible childcare for any women who come with children, from newborn to 5 years old.

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry at River Park Church is on the move. Each year we kick off our Men’s Ministry with an all weekend men’s trail ride in Halkirk, Alberta, at the Circle Square Ranch. This has always been a great time of fun, fellowship, friendship and a few saddle sores.

We meet Saturday morning’s at 8:00 am for a time of study, worship, and talking about what it means to be a man in God’s world.  Location: 180, 2882 Glenmore Trail SE.

We also have periodic events throughout the year that we will attend and encourage you to attend. Notices of the events will be posted on our website home page.

Prayer Group

Riverpark Church has a prayer group that meets on Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m.  We gather to pray for each other, and the needs of our church, neighbourhood, city, and world.

We believe that prayer is one of the most powerful tools God has given us in the Christian life, because through prayer we commune and communicate with the Lord of all creation.  On top of that these prayer groups are places where we get to practice our faith, and so grow into the people Jesus already knows that we are.

If you’d like to join one of our prayer groups you can simply show up to the church at 7am on Wednesday morning.

Senior’s Group

Geared towards people who are mature in years but young at heart (55 and over), this ministry includes coffee and lunch socials throughout the year, as well as various service projects. The goal is to connect seniors with a social circle they can visit, share, and grow with, and to establish a fun and welcoming ministry. We meet one Wednesday each month.
